Top Indicators It’s Time to Get Your Carpet Cleaned

You know it’s time to get your carpets cleaned when you experience these telltale signs.  Basically, these signs are your carpets speaking to you directly about their cleanliness!

Top 7 Indicators It’s Time For A Deep Clean:

  1. AAAAHHHH-CHOOO! tends to be a common theme in your house lately.  Your family and guests are sneezing more and more when they are in your house.  Why?  Your carpet is trapping allergens!  Professional strength cleaning will help to power out allergens and irritants
  2. You are playing the game “What’s That Smell?” more often than you would like to.  Dirty carpeting can hold on to odors.  When that happens, it is hard to get rid of the odors.  A professional carpet cleaning can help to refresh and deodorize your home.
  3. Your carpeting has more traffic patterns than the Veteran’s Expressway.  There seems to be a dark trail of foot traffic meandering through your home.  This means dirt and grime is present in your carpet’s fibers.
  4. Stains a plenty!  Do you see more spots and stains than you remember?  Even after you have done almost everything to remove them?  It’s time to call in the professionals to work on what just won’t come out.
  5. What color is that anyway?  Is it getting more an more difficult to recognize your carpet’s original color even after multiple attempts of vacuuming?  Another telltale sign that dirt has invaded carpet fibers. It’s gotten in so deep that standard household machines can no longer to the trick.
  6. Is it time to re-name your carpet Matt?  You know what we’re talking about.  The fibers are no longer long and fluffy, but, short and, well, matted!  Don’t ignore the matted finish.  Call in the professionals before its too late!  The more your fibers stay matted, the more damage is done.
  7. Mold and mildew is present.  It has been a hot and rainy summer so far in Tampa!  These types of conditions are the perfect breeding ground for mold and mildew.  Don’t let that happen to your carpet.  Ask us how we can help prevent damage caused by mold and mildew.

Tips and Tricks: Carpet Cleaning

carpet_cleaning_pet_stain_puppy_full_zps828edb87

We all overlook having our carpets cleaned. We think that since we vacuum all the time it should do the trick. Vacuuming at least once a week is great but you have to have your carpets cleaned at least once a year, more if you have pets and/or kids. Carpets harbor unseen bacteria, dirt, hair, and dust mites. Even using a HEPA vacuum will not get everything out. To put it simply, you need a professional to clean your carpets to get everything out.

Professionals start with pre-vacuuming. This primes the carpets for the deep cleaning that is about to happen. After, they put down a concentrated cleaner to break down the embedded dirt. Extra is applied to high traffic areas and places where there are noticeable stains. Deodorizer is also used to help your carpets smell nice and clean during this process. After all, who wouldn’t want their carpets to smell nice? Finally, they vacuum up everything. This will pick up all of the dirt, hair, bacteria, and dust mites that the cleaner has killed.

At Complete Care Systems we do not use a wet method, we use a low moisture system. Our encapsulation cleaner holds the dirt, hair, bacteria, and dust kites in to ensure that we get it all out. Your carpets will dry in a few hours rather than taking the entire day to dry with the wet methods.
Call Complete Care Systems today for all of your carpet cleaning needs. At Complete Care Systems we don’t cut corners, we clean them.

Tips and Tricks: Tile and Grout Cleaning

Image

Everyone want their tile and grout to look nice all year round, but not many actually look nice. Why is this? We scrub at them a couple times a week and they still have films or stains. Lets explore the reasons why our tiles do not always look their best.

1. Over time the dirt starts to cling to your tiles, especially in high traffic areas. This will start to age them slowly over time, which makes them start to look worse and worse the longer you have tiles.

2. The type of cleaner you buy plays a big roles in how your tiles look and feel. Most low end cleaners eventually leave a film (quite possibly a sticky film) that nobody wants in their home.

3. Take a good look at your grout lines. Most likely you will see small holes or cracks. These are the breeding ground for mold and bacteria. The mold and bacteria grow at a steady pace and could cause your whole family to become sick. Depending on the temperature in the room depends how fast the mold and bacteria will grow, but either way you do not want those silent killers in your home.

These three problems could easily be fixed with a yearly call to your local cleaning expert. If you live in the Tampa Bay Area then Complete Care Systems can help you with all of your tile and grout cleaning needs. We not only clean, but we also replace grout, color grout, and seal tile and grout.

HELPFUL HINT: In between yearly cleanings from a professional you will want to clean your tile and grout at least once a week. You will want to use a product that is mid range in price because it will not leave the unwanted residue that the other cleaners will leave. Just remember that after you use any product to rinse the floor with clean water to get any excess dirty up and to help take the harsh chemical off of the floor that you do not want your family to touch!

Tips and Tricks: Upholstery Cleaning

Image

Upholstery cleaning is something that Complete Care Systems loves to do! It is one of the major things that keeps your home happy and healthy. Why is that you ask? Well here are four reasons why this is one of the best things you could do for your home.

1. Appearance of your furniture. Nobody wants their upholstery to look dingy, gross, or worn down. The dirt in your upholstery makes your furniture look awful. Upholstery cleaning keeps your furniture looking nicer for a longer period of time, especially if it is new.

2. Extended wear on your furniture. Most people I know cannot afford to buy new furniture all the time, nor do they want to. Upholstery cleaning can help with the wear on your furniture by taking out all of the dirt and grime; making your furniture hold up through all of life’s adventures.

3. Family’s health. We love talking about how to be healthy in the comfort of your home! What stinks is that if you do not clean your upholstery your family’s health could be at risk. Think about what you do on your couch. From eating to sitting on it after a workout; your upholstery has a lot of bacteria in it from our everyday lives, which could cause your family to become sick. Did you ever think your kids could be getting sick from you and not from their friends? Yea, we didn’t either,

4.Good air quality. We all have excuses for why our air isn’t the cleanest. “We don’t have time to pay attention or the money for the machines” is something I always hear. Well did you know upholstery cleaning could help with the air quality in your home? Mold, dust, mildew, and even other allergens can live in your dirty upholstery. Getting it cleaned at least once a year can help your family breathe better.

As you can see upholstery cleaning has a lot of benefits to make your home happy and healthy. Call Complete Care Systems for all of your upholstery cleaning needs!
